Several industrially promising sectors such as automobiles, renewable energies, power quality management, and mobile gadgets require high-performance and low-cost energy storage devices. Electrochemical capacitors have been accepted as the key elements for realizing charge–discharge cycling with high power density, high efficiency, and long life.
