<p>In a general electric Environmental-Control-System(ECS), the conditioned air supplied inside the cabin of aircraft is discharged outside without being effectively used. The air passed through the cabin obtains a non-negligible amount of heat from electronic devices and passengers. Therefore, in this research, we propose the use of an electric turbo compressor that recovers energy with a turbine and returns power to the electric compressor before discarding air. We will investigate a thermo dynamic analysis to obtain the energy recovery rate under the configuration with two electric turbo compressor.</p>

<p>A rotating cone composed of simple structure causes a pumping-up phenomena, where filmwise or filamentwise flow pattern is generated depending on the viscosity along the slope of the cone. In this paper, we propose a heating mechanism of the flow, which uses an induction heating with permanent magnetics. The mechanism heats the flow without disturbing and contacting the flow. However, a necessary force to rotate the cone under the magnetic field is unclear. So, we investigate the relation between the necessary torque and the rotation rate. It is found that an increasing rate of the necessary torque is decreasing as the rotation rate is increasing. This is mainly because the Lorentz force is decreasing due to the induction heating.</p>

回転円すいを用いた揚水現象における揚水開始回転数と粘度および浸水量の関係

<p>It is confirmed that a cone rotating at the liquid surface causes pumping-up of liquid, where the cone is immersed by the top upside down. If the rotation rate exceeds a critical threshold, the pumping-up phenomena occur. The flow of the pumping-up phenomena is classified into two patterns such as film-wise and filament-wise. The critical threshold of the rotation rate and the resultant flow pattern depend on mainly the viscosity, immersed diameter of the cone and angle of cone. We will try to obtain a correlation of rotation rate, viscosity, immersed diameter and angle of cone on the threshold of pumping-up phenomena in order to elucidate the pumping-up mechanism. It is found that there are three categories depending on the viscosity classified as film-wise pumping-up region for the low viscosity, filament-wise pumping-up one for the high viscosity, and no pumping-up phenomenon occurs for intermediate viscosity.</p>

<p>In our study,we develop a new method how to use cold energy in a cold area.In the system,a basic principle that the volume of water shows ten percent increase when it is frozen.If the air and water are enclosed in an airtight container at the same time,the air is pressed by the frozen water when the water starts to freeze.The pressed air can be stored into an accumulator.Even in a winter season in a cold area,the air temperature outside can across the freezing point in a day.This means that the phase change both from water to ice and from ice to water can repeat in each day.Then, the pressure from the pressed air can be increased in an accumulator due to the repeated phase change.We develop a new cold energy conversion system in this study.</p>
