This study reports on Akita University's participation in the "TOHOKUCRAFT Student Collaboration Project" to propose value propositions for traditional crafts. Traditional crafts differ in use, beauty, and points that evoke a sense of beauty, depending on where they were produced. Aesthetics has a design aspect and a brand aspect. With both design and brand, there is value. In this project, six students enrolled at Akita University conducted a regional survey to learn about the value of Kabazaiku (wild cherry bark work), which has been handed down in the Kakunodate area of Senboku City, and to create new values that are compatible with current lifestyles. There is a long history of branding traditional crafts, and the brand story has already been established to some extent. This paper reports on the results of students' own learning through active learning of methods to create new value propositions for already established brands and to gain consumer engagement.

In this paper, we will clarify the functions and roles of education in the region from the perspective of regional management, using Akita Prefecture, which is highly regarded for its regional educational capabilities, as a case study. We will grasp previous discussions on the functions and roles of education in the region, and analyze the functions that education has from the perspective of regional management. Then, in order to empirically clarify the impact of these functions on the region, an analysis will be conducted using an input-output table.

This study investigates the factors that contribute to broadening social understanding of e-sports events. e-sports is a method for viewing computer games as sports, and has attracted strong interest from around the world. The brand image of e-sports in Japan is derived from home video game consoles and is often pointed out by customers as being aimed at children. This is one of the factors hindering the spread of the sport. Therefore, we conducted a survey to find out what kind of e-sports tournaments would help revitalize local communities. As a result of factor analysis, it was found that the participants were divided into two groups: the spectator group and the experience value group. As for the game titles to be handled, the participants preferred titles that they had played on home video game consoles rather than IPs used in the world championships.

This paper is a study the economic impact of COVID-19 on tourism in Akita Prefecture as an example. First, we survey papers of the economic impact of COVID-19 in Japan. In addition, we research decline in tourists based on the tourism statistics by Akita Prefectural Government, and we estimate effects of the economic impact of COVID-19 on tourism in Akita Prefecture by input-output analysis. As a result, it became clear that COVID-19 impacts to economic in Akita Prefecture. COVID-19 caused a loss of tourism demand in Akita Prefecture and caused a great economic loss to the tourism-related industry.

CCRCのまちなか展開の可能性と課題 ―「クロッセ秋田」の事例から―

This paper is a study on the first CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) "CROSSE AKITA" in Akita-City as an example. First, we survey papers of CCRC in Japan, and analyzed impact to community. In addition, we research expectations for CCRC based on the report by Akita Prefectural Government, and we estimate effects of the "CROSSE AKITA" that impacts to central area of Akita-City. As a result, it became clear that CCRC impacts to community and regional economy. It is an important factor in creating revitalization of the regional community from the perspective of regional management.

The regional collective trademark system is one of the trademark laws and especially important when branding. In this study, we investigated Yuri Akita beef as an example. Yuri Akita beef is systematically cultivated for food and has high value as a brand. As a result of conducting a questionnaire about the image of Yuri Akita beef, the taste was highly evaluated consumers want a medium price for Akita Yuri beef.

This paper is an analysis of the current situation and issues in the working environment for women in Akita City. First, we analyzed the companies in Akita City using statistics. In addition, a questionnaire was sent to Akita University students to answer questions about how women work and how to balance work and family. As a result, it became clear that companies in Akita City have a working environment for women. However, the percentage of female managers was low. It is important to have an environment and personnel system that can fully understand women's abilities and motivation. Based on the results of a questionnaire survey of Akita University students, the employment support system for women was an important item in determining work. Supporting women's continuation of work by considering work-life balance and enhancing the child-rearing system is a concept necessary for increasing the number of female managers.

<p>学金連携システム研究会は，地域金融機関と大学の連携とその地域貢献活動状況を明らかにすることで，学金による協調したイノベーションの発現に必要なことは何かを考えるために設立された．学金連携システム研究会発足から10年が経過するが，その間，地域金融機関と大学を取り巻く環境も大きく変化した．本稿では，学金連携システム研究会のこの10年のあゆみについて振り返るとともに，研究会活動のなかで明らかにされた課題に関して実施した調査結果について報告する．</p>

The main industries of Northern area of Tohoku Japan are agriculture and electronic components. However, the regional economy suffered from a Lehman shock problem and the economy went bad. In this paper, we studied on the industrial structure in Northern area of Tohoku Japan with Input-Output analysis. We also propose a strategy to restore the economy. The main industries of Northern area of Tohoku Japan were food, electronic parts, and information communication. For these industries to continue to grow, a correct strategy are necessary. For the food industry to grow, it is necessary to brand it and raise added value more. For the electronic components industry to grow, it is necessary not to leave the decision only to enterprises but to support the prefecture administration. For the information and communications industry to grow, it is necessary to cultivate specialized human resources. In the future, it is important that Northern area of Tohoku Japan acquire demand outside the region. Northern area of Tohoku Japan must actively enter the fields where growth can be expected, and the regional economy will be revitalized through strategic efforts.

北東北3県広域学金連携活動～地域版TLO ネットビックスプラスの取り組み～

秋田大学，岩手大学，弘前大学の北東北3大学と秋田銀行，岩手銀行，青森銀行の北東北3銀行の6者は連携して，学金連携による地域版TLOネットビックスを立ち上げその運営を行っている．この背景には，北東北の人口減少問題がある．企業の経営を支援するために，大学と地域金融機関は共同で知的財産を技術移転するシステム構築し，これを地域版TLOと定義した．本稿ではこの背景と成り立ちを説明するとともに，構築したスキームを説明する．我々は，今後，地域企業に対して，活用しやすい知財支援を行うための学金連携システムとして提供する．<br>
